Clement Bresson is currently working on his PhD investigating enterprise development practice in remote communities. His research looks at the design and implementation of appropriate enterprise models in remote communities.

His main research focus is on the development of Aboriginal seafood enterprises in the Northern Territory. This follows four years working in Maningrida, Arnhem Land, NT, as the Enterprise Development Manager for Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation. During this time, Clem was involved in a range of enterprise development projects, including the establishment and management of Maningrida Wild Foods, a social enterprise supplying seafood and native bush foods to local community members but also high-end restaurants, food processors and wholesalers.

Prior to this, Clem worked in the Central Land Council’s Community Development Unit and in the sustainable energy sector in Australia and internationally.
