Through knowledge exchange and research translation, the Centre for Indigenous Policy Research empowers First Nations communities to influence and inform decision making about matters affecting them. The centre regularly publishes its research on Indigenous policy issues in the series CIPR Policy Papers. These papers are intended to amplify First Nations voices and advance Indigenous self-determination in policy making locally, nationally and globally. Papers in this series are peer reviewed by external First Nations scholars.
