ANU's Frances Markham, Maeve Powell and Deirdre Howard-Wagner presented separate papers on Justice, Indigeneity and the Settler-Colonial city at Institute of Australian Geographers conference.

Francis Markham presented a paper on "Indigenous land ownership in Sydney and the housing boom, 2006 - 2016".

The conference session was titled "Justice, Indigeneity and the Settler-Colonial City". It aimed to bring together geographers in Australia working to further contemporary engagements with Indigenous peoples and the settler-colonial city. The session was convened by Naama Blatman-Thomas (University of Sydney), Francis Markham (CAEPR, ANU) and Maeve Powell (NCIS, ANU), as part of the Institute of Australian Geographers annual conference, held in Hobart.
